Great success of the Caterpillar Project presented during the event organized by CREA-GB in Fiorenzuola d’Arda, on May 17, 2022, as part of the “World Fascination of Plant Day 2022”. More than 100 visitors, divided into 5 groups, were “fascinated” by industrial hemp and its thousands of resources, and were able to appreciate the innovation introduced by the Caterpillar Project, aimed at relaunching the industrial hemp supply chain for the production of textile fiber and functional foods. Great feedback also came from the tasting of the project’s products: hemp seed oil and hemp flour bread made available to the attendees. The presentation of the Caterpillar project was placed in the context of Bioeconomy, Circular Economy and Multipurpose Crops for a Sustainable Future.
